Weather: Overcast with a chill in the air

Hello dear friends, and happy September!

I know... I was also a bit shocked :)

Time really has flown by over the last few weeks...

But do you know what? I don't really mind as autumn is actually one of my favourite seasons.

The weather is often surprisingly pleasant, the light is very pretty and the change in nature and her colours can be quite stunning. That said, today was a tad on the dull and chilly side... in fact, it was the first time in ages that I saw my human in a scarf when she went out.

Although I have my own (very stylish, I might add ;) kitty-scarf, I didn't need to don it today as I was a wise cat and stayed indoors. I split my time between snoozing in my "blanket cave" and having a cat-nap on my window cushion...

Some days are just all go!

I also spent some time with a few new friends - there's Foxy (who is not in the picture) and a chap called Paddington Bear (who is sort of in the picture ;)

These are two of my human's (many) cuddly toys and they usually hang out on the sofa in the living room.

I don't mind so much - I have many other spots to snooze - but sometimes, I do also like to snuggle-up next to one of these little fluffy guys.

On another note, we also have two other new "friends" in the house...

My humans went to IKEA last weekend and returned with some Sonos speakers. There is now one upstairs and one downstairs and they can choose music from their phones and it will play on both speakers at the same time... I didn't quite see what all the fuss was about but they seemed pretty happy!

They also stocked up on some new bird seed and bird peanuts for the little feathered chaps who visit our patio garden and I also got a fresh supply of kibble (yes, Royal Canin ;) and lots of tins of soft food... happy days!

And my human had her first "Japanese Language & Culture" class... Konnichiwa, people!

The class is being given by the Zuyd Hogeschool (University) here in Maastricht and she will be busy with the course until December.

I decided to start as I mean to go on so I made a special appearance during the Zoom lesson the other night to inspect the laptop screen, walk past the camera and stop mid-way so my human was cleverly concealed for a moment. I found it all very cute (or should I say, Kawaii ;)

But what of the coming days..?

ree

Well it's holiday time here at Casa Little Tubbs... oh yes, my humans have their work "out-of-office" messages on and we are all set to enjoy some quality time and lazy days together...

(See? I told you that September was a good month :)

I understand that there are a few chores and errands on the cards first (now that there is a bit of time to do all these things) but once those are out-of-the-way, it's #chillouttime!

On that note dear friends, I shall sign-off for today but I'll leave you with this rather scary thought... there are just 121 days left in 2021 #omg

Wishing you all a great week (and weekend) ahead, take care and until next time.

Sayonara!

Love,

LT xx
