Kitty's log
Date: 12-06-2022
Weather: Sunny
Hello dear friends and I hope this finds you well.
Once again, it's been a while since I have shared a blog post. I blame my human! She has been super busy recently with a bunch of various things going on... but today we have finally found a moment to write.
So what's been happening of late?
Well, my humans really enjoyed the new "Top Gun: Maverick" movie (we love you, Tom!) so if you are also a fan of the original 1986 film, then be sure to catch the follow-up.

Sadly their plan to visit Brighton later this month has had to be postponed due to a transport strike in the United Kingdom during their travel dates - how typical!
Doesn't make much sense to arrive in London St. Pancras only to get "stuck" in the capital and not be able to get down to Brighton.
But it seems the Eurostar tickets have been re-booked without issue and the idea is to now make the journey sometime in August...
A visit to Camden Town is also in the mix...
And I've even heard talk of them going to an airshow in Eastbourne while they are in the UK. Seems there will be fighter jets and everything (I wonder if Tom will be there?! ;)
Away from travels and my human had to pay a return visit to the doctor last week. It would appear she's been a tad too "enthusiastic" following her recent foot operation and has now been told to rest-up and take it easy in terms of long walks and exercising. Next to that, she has also managed to damage the radial nerve in her left hand (if it doesn't rain, it pours) so she's off to the Chiropractor (the lovely Dr. Asha Prasad at Chirowell) next week to see if something can be done to help.
Luckily us male-folk here at Casa Tubbs are in fine fettle! The F1 in Baku was on today and it was a win for Max Verstappen :) Red Bull have been doing so well recently... (Sergio Perez won at Monaco in the previous race). And next time, we will be off to Canada which should hopefully be another fun Formula 1 weekend.
We have been busy watching season 8 of "Blacklist" on Netflix - gripping stuff - plus a show called "Pagan Peak" (a German/Austrian series) which is spooky at time but compelling viewing too.

Away from the TV/sofa and the weather has been a tad more settled in the past few week so my humans have been out on the patio a bit more, and some new plants have also arrived on the scene...
Sadly our Japanese Maple tree has been having a tough time outdoors and seems to have gotten sunburned. Ms. Maple has now been moved indoors to the "conservatory" in the hope she might recover. We already have a lot of plants indoors already and they also have names: Polly, Big Lil, Little Lil, Fearne, Spidey, Bambi, Panckie, Baby Panckie... and of course my little Cat Grass (Snacky G ;).
Last Saturday my humans went out to see an Opus 16 piano concert at a nearby convent. It was music for four hands and was very special indeed... My human was every asked to do a little write-up about the event... (you can read it here :) After the show, they went out to dinner at Cafe Sjiek (one of their favourites) so it was a lovely night out.
And today my human went to a New Moon Yoga Ceremony at the Aruna Yoga studio and came home all "zen-like" (Namaste to that!). I quite like yoga myself and sometimes, I will join in if she is doing yoga at home. I can totally nail that Cat Pose!
But what of the week ahead?
Well it's back to work tomorrow for my humans - ah, Monday, Monday... and during the week, I think I might be having a little photo-shoot (it's rather overdue!) to get some fresh content for my Instagram page.
Next Sunday (19th June) will be Father's Day (naturally I have a giftie stored away for my human ;) and for the rest, I think I will be catching-up on some snoozies and seeing if the forecast for 31°C degrees comes about... #yikes
Until next time, stay cool kitties and keep hydrated!
Love, LT xx
