Hello dear friends, and happy (whiskers) Wednesday!

Well I have to start today's post with a remark about the weather of late... It has truly been a mix of everything over the past few days.

The (long) Easter weekend started off pretty promising with some nice sunshine... but then things turned a bit dull and grey and we had a smattering of rain. But it doesn't end there, the past two days we've had full on snow! And now - as I put paw to keyboard - it's bright with clear skies... honestly, a cat doesn't know what to wear!

The snow is nice though... I popped out onto our little patio (catio?!) garden to have a snuffle but returned indoors pretty sharpish, and covered in snowflakes...

My humans go all "warm & fuzzy" when it snows... they marvel at the thickness of the snowflakes, how fast they fall, how many fall, how long the snow stays on the ground plus discuss how the birds are coping and if there is enough food in the feeders (note: the feeders are over-flowing!).

And when it snows they always (always) start talking about the time they went to Swedish Lapland (it was back in February 2019, people!) and reminisce on the experience they had. I do despair sometimes ;)

Moving away from snow, I need to back-track to the Easter weekend we just had.. it was all very nice (confusing weather aside) and my humans and I caught up on reading, Netflix and snoozing (though the latter was mostly me!).

I also discovered a bunch of rather small chocolate eggs on the dining room table. I think this "Easter Bunny" person must have left them. I'm not that pushed about chocolate but I did find it fun to play with the eggs with my paw.

For the rest, not much else really but happy that another weekend is on the horizon... no major plans but sometimes, that's the best way. I will just go with the flow and see what the weekend brings my way (here's hoping there is something of the Royal Canin variety in the mix!)

And it's now just 23 days until my 11th birthday (OMG! I can't believe I'm turning 11) and I'm extra lucky as my birthday falls on a Friday this year and both my humans have the day off work... just for me :)

23 days and counting...
