Hello dear friends, and happy Friday!

Oh yes, another weekend has arrived and I for one am glad...

I have had quite a few late nights in the past week thanks to the Euro 2020 football tournament. Many of the games went on to extra time and some even had penalties!

It was all very exciting though and now that the final (England vs. Italy) has been decided, I look forward to Sunday and seeing how it all turns out...

Is football coming home?

Or is football coming Rome?! ;)

For the rest, DRAMA at Casa Little Tubbs this week... As I mentioned in my previous post, Henry the Hoover has indeed moved in... he is a rather cute little spud but so noisy - freaks me out!

When my human was vacuuming, I had to retreat to the attic to hide under the duvet. But next thing, Henry and my human arrived in said attic. Yikes! I then had to make a hasty run for it and hide in the downstairs bedroom. It was quite a stressful 30 minutes, I can tell you...

Henry is now settled in to the little cupboard upstairs and I expect I'll see him again next week. Sigh.

I have also been out on the Catio in the last week. Even though we have had quite some rain (the potted plants in the garden were very grateful), we have also had moments of sunshine. That's when I potter outside... it's so nice to have warm snoozies :)

There have been quite a few dragonflies around of late. We even had two in the house! My humans just left the doors and windows open and they eventually flew away (the dragonflies that is, not my humans!).

All this excitement prompted me to find out more about these insects though and it turns out that dragonflies represent good luck and prosperity and that you should make a wish when you see one and it will come true (I wish I'd known that before - I would have been wishing for extra bags of Royal Canin and endless kitty treats ;)

And if a dragonfly lands on you, it seems you will hear some good news.... I do like these little snippets of (interesting) information.

Well dear friends, I think that is all for this week... It's time for me to get back to some more kitty dreaming (see example in the photograph ;) and start getting into the weekend groove!

Speaking of the weekend, do you have any plans?

For me, it looks like it will be a pretty quiet affair - just chilling out and taking it easy (and of course, watching the footie final!)
