Kitty's Log

Date: 09-03-2021

Weather: Gloomy

Hello dear friends!

I hope all is well... anything new?

From my side, there is not much to share... it's been a pretty quiet week all-in-all. But that's OK... I don't mind having some down-time!

It was a rather gloomy day here in Maastricht today - rain, grey skies, rather chilly (the human's even put the heating on for a bit at one point this afternoon #toasty) - which was a pity after having had some very sunny days recently. We even had another BBQ on Sunday last... I got some of the fish AND meat! It was a good day...

For the rest, my human's have been binge-watching a TV series called Below Deck Mediterranean this past weekend...

I can't say that boating life would be my cup of tea ~ a tad too much water in the mix! I'm much more of a "terra firma cat" and prefer to keep my little paws (see photo) on dry land!

Speaking of cups of tea, there was much excitement the other day when a box arrived from Kelly's Expat Shopping.

My goodness, my human was super happy!

The delivery contained a box of "Taylors of Harrogate" Yorkshire Tea, biscuits (lots of biscuits), Mr. Kipling cakes (apparently they are exceedingly delicious ;) and Cadbury's Chocolate.

I wasn't terribly interested in any of the foodie-goodies but I did rather like the lovely cardboard box they all came in... and yes, I got to play in said box! #result

And it seems that more boxes might be on the way this week as both of my humans have been doing a spot of online shopping... I heard talk of items coming from various places from Bol to Wehkamp (so almost A-Z ;)

In terms of the rest of this week, it seems the rain is set to stick around so that means I'll be spending more time on the radiators and in my cozy cave instead of the sunshine snoozies of last week (but snooze time is snooze time, right? :)

I will also try to get in some "sit-on-laptop-while-human-working" activity and catch-up on cat-chirping at the garden birds too.

So it looks like it's going to be all go for the coming days!

And this weekend is Six Nations Rugby again and Ireland are up against Scotland on Sunday so I'll be joining my human in watching the game on the BBC... It's also Mother's Day in Ireland on Sunday too.

And next week Wednesday (March 17th) is St. Patrick's Day so I expect my post next week will have a "green flavour" ;)

Until then, take care and go n-éirí an bóthar leat,

Love, LT x
