Kitty's Log
Date: 01-12-2020
Weather: Dry but rather crisp
Hello dear friends,
And a happy December to you all!
I can't believe it's already the last month of this (rather strange) year... but not to worry, Christmas is coming :)
My humans were at the garden centre this past weekend to look at Christmas trees. They ended up buying a small (and very cute) one... it's more like a shrub really (I call him "Shrubby") and the idea is that they will plant him in our garden in the new year (our tree from last Christmas is also out there and still going strong).
Anyhow, back to Shrubby...
So it seems we are going to decorate the tree (I always love to help) on December 4th (as this is a special day for one of my humans ;) so stay tuned for next week's blog post with some photos of the finished result. Deck the halls and all that...
But back to this week's post and some rather exciting news.
As mentioned in a previous post, my beautiful cat bandana from Fluffy Couture & Co. did indeed arrive!
I am so happy with it... it is such a comfy bandana and fits perfectly (purrfectly ;)
And what's extra cool is that the bandana is reversible so I can have two separate looks as and when I want...
For the rest, it's been a pretty calm week. The weather has turned an awful lot colder though so I'm keeping pretty close to the radiators and staying indoors a little more than usual...
I still like to cat-chirp at the birds through the window though.
There seems to be more birds in the garden these days but that could also be because my humans bought another feeder, and some new seeds and peanuts...
That said, I do think it's important to feed the birds during these colder days... they are such small little things.
Speaking of caring for animals, don't forget that today (December 1st) is "Giving Tuesday" and is a worldwide initiative/day of global giving.
My human is going to donate to some animal charities who are doing amazing work:
Four Paws (UK)
Friends to the Forlorn (USA)
Takis Shelter (Crete)
The Donkey Sanctuary (Ireland)
Maybe you will also be inspired to help a worthy cause.
Take care everyone... Love, LT xx
