Weather: Way too hot for little tubbies

Hello fur-friends,

My goodness!

It is mighty hot these days. Here in the Netherlands, we are entering into something my humans call a heatwave.

Well I am not too fond of this phenomenon ~ it makes my ears hot and I find it hard to keep cool.

I am keeping a low profile for the most part ~ just staying indoors (my humans tell me it's too hot out on our balcony and it seems my paws might get hurt) so I am keeping cool in a dark room with the shutters closed and catching-up on some Zzzzzzz's...

(I do like a snooze as you might imagine!)

My humans are putting ice-cubes in my water dish which makes me feel like I'm having a fancy cocktail (no paper umbrella mind = amateurs!) and every now and then, I get "wiped down" with a cold, damp tea-towel... it is actually nicer than it sounds and does help me feel better in the heat.

My humans also appear to love how my fur looks a bit "spikey" when it's wet... I believe it may be the charm of my alter ego "Tufty Tubbs".

Honestly, what do I live with?!
