Kitty's Log
Date: 12-09-2021
Weather: Grey, chilly and damp
Hello dear friends and happy Sunday!
I hope you have all been keeping well...
Sorry for my somewhat "later-than-normal" post but I was away for a bit last week. My humans decided to head to Germany (seems the Black Forest is wunderbar!) for a mini-break and - as long car journeys are really not my thing - I checked-in to my favourite Cat Hotel (De Gelaarsde Kat) in Maastricht for my own little getaway :)
It was a good stay (as usual) - I had a nice, clean room that was very quiet and the food and service was great! That said, I was happy to get home again but it has taken me a few days to get back "into the rhythm" as it were.
But now, here I am... sitting behind the laptop watching the birdies flitting about the patio garden enjoying their breakfast (fresh peanuts) and wondering if it's going to rain again (that's me wondering, not the birds ;)

Indeed September has arrived and although last week was beautifully warm and sunny, it seems that the autumn rains and temperatures are now starting to settle in...
But not to worry! I can just as easily nap indoors and keep my ventures onto the Catio for when the sun comes out...
It's still a little soon for the radiators to be on but in another month or so, you never know... I do enjoy a snooze on the rads!
Aside from my little vacay last week, things have been pretty calm... my humans went out for dinner last night to some Italian type place. I decided not to join as I was enjoying my snooze-time (and I was also still rather full from lunch!)
Today it's F1 day again and this time, it's Monza (the Italian theme continues ;)) so we will see how that all pans out. Last Sunday (while the humans were in Germany), it was the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort and by all accounts, it was quite the spectacle!
Max Verstappen won (which was the perfect scenario :) and it was rather an exciting event with extended coverage on TV and everything... it seems it was the first Grand Prix at this circuit in 36 years (that's like 125 in cat years!)
I'm curious if today's race will be as exciting... I may watch but my Sunday afternoons are generally reserved for snoozies and a cat has to have priorities, right?!
In other news... my human has taken-up yoga again and is now "back on the mat" once (sometimes twice) a week. #dedication
She is doing Hatha (and trying Yin) yoga at Aruna Yoga Maastricht and she loves it so far!

She is also doing little "yoga work-outs" at home too in the morning.
When she is in the attic/office/work-out space, I usually join and do a few moves myself. I kinda like the vibe and relaxing music...
Here I am displaying my version of the Shavasana pose ;)
Well dear friends, I think that is about it for this time...
I am now off to enjoy my (second) breakfast (one can never have too much Royal Canin ;) and I will then go wake-up my humans... they just love it when I bug them in bed early in the morning!
Until next week, take care and Namasté!
Love, LT xx
