Weather: Sunny
Hello dear friends,
I hope this finds you well and that all has been OK over the past few weeks.
All is fine on my side but it is upsetting to see the situation in Ukraine continuing...
It did warm my heart this past week however, to see some organizations helping out my fellow pet friends across Europe. I send my prayers and very best to all who are being impacted by current events.

For the rest, it has been quite an exciting weekend here at Casa Tubbs... Yesterday it was again Six Nations Rugby and Ireland were up against England at Twickenham. My goodness, what a game!
My human was beside herself - even "yelling" at the TV during the game! (though I'm not sure it had any impact ;)
But she was ultimately able to breathe a sigh of relief as Ireland were the eventual winners... though it wasn't easy.
Next week (19th March) is Super Saturday and if England can win against France (and Ireland against Scotland), then the boys in green still have a chance to win the tournament - but there are a lot of "ifs"in the mix! In any case, next Saturday will surely be a big rugby day...
And yet more exciting news... today was my human's "choir debut" at the Sint Servaas church here in Maastricht. The choir sang at the 6pm mass and... it was a great success!
I feel I know the entire repertoire at this stage as I've been hearing all the songs at home for the past few weeks (weeks, people!) so I could sing in the choir myself at this stage ;) I think the Sanctus and Awake my Soul are my personal favourites...

Away from Maastricht and my humans were off gallivanting last weekend - they headed to the Dutch coast for a few days at Scheveningen.
They were blessed with the weather and had a really lovely break... some walks along the strand, some dinners by cozy fires and some drinkies at beachclubs in the sun.
I didn't join as I am not a big fan of the sea but it's all good... I stayed home and took care of the house for a night while a happy helper - who was fond of feeding me many treats - looked after me :)
As you know, I am totally in love with Royal Canin kibble (especially the Aroma one) and I also enjoy some soft kitty food like Sheba and Gourmet but... there may be a new favourite in town: Felix Soup.
Firstly, the cat on the box is a Tuxie (always a good endorsement ;) but (to channel Janice from Friends for a moment) "Oh My God!"- what delightfully delicious little sachets! #love

And another thing I love at the moment is The Apprentice. It is such compelling viewing...
Next week will be the "interview round" (which is one of the best parts!) and I can't wait to watch. And honestly, I really don't know who is going to win... the suspense!
Well dear friends, that's about it for this time. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and until soon...
Take care out there,
Love, LT x
