Kitty's Log
Date: 16-02-2021
Weather: Sunny but chilly
Greetings dear friends, and happy Pancake Tuesday!
My humans made home-made pancakes today and it seems it was a big success. I inspected a few of the pancakes myself (quality control, you understand) and even had a little nibble on a few. Very scrummy!
I rather like my pancakes plain but my humans were having a myriad of different toppings on theirs including sugar & lemon juice, Nutella and maple syrup. Strange creatures!
Speaking of strange, can you believe that another week has already gone by? Time is simply flying by... It's been quite an OK week though. The snow has gone and the weather is much more 'spring-like' at the moment. When the sun shines, it can really be quite lovely ~ especially if one is lazing behind a window on a comfy spot in the light!

And last Friday it was Lunar New Year... it seems 2021 will be the year of the Metal Ox, who is the second animal in the Chinese Zodiac.
It's all quite interesting and I think we will all be hoping the Ox brings us some good luck.
We marked Valentine's Day on Sunday.. it was nice.
My humans picked up their takeaway from Restaurant Rantrée (many photographs were taken for Instagram!) and it seems that everything was very tasty indeed...
As you can see, I was trying out my fancy bow-tie for the occasion and I got to enjoy my own special "love-day" lunch which went down very well indeed...
That afternoon my humans went out for a walk but came back after an hour as Tracey had issues with her foot again (that darn Morton's Neuroma) so we all cuddled up and watched the Ireland vs. France Six Nations Rugby game.
Mon Dieu!
Congratulations to France on their victory but sadly it was another disappointing performance from the Boys in Green.
On a plus note, the evening of February 14th ended on a high! We tuned in to Matt Tebutt and Olly Smith's "Lockdown Love Inn" on Zoom. I only watched a bit of it but seems it was great fun and my humans had a lot of laughs, I can tell you...
The week ahead is looking pretty low-key... I got a fresh supply of Royal Canin kibble today plus loads of cans of soft food so I'm all set for breakfast, brunch, elevenses, lunch, tea, supper and dinner!
And my humans have also made their "meal plans" for the week... it's all about avoiding food-waste at the moment and "using up" stuff (this is never an issue for me - I eat everything in my bowl! ;)
Wishing you all a great week ahead...
Love, LT x
