Hello dear friends,

I hope all is well :)

I realise that I am a day later than normal in posting my blog but I actually did it on purpose...

I wanted to wait until today so that I could wish you all a very Happy St. Patrick's Day! (or as they say in Irish, Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh).

It's quite a strange language this Irish Gaelic, isn't it? But it does have it's charm... and I do believe that I'm going to be hearing a lot more Irish in the coming weeks (and months ;) as my human has signed-up for a 10 week online Irish language evening course in order to brush-up on (and refresh) her school-leavers Irish...

I have already learned that in Irish, little is beag so that makes me "Tubbs Beag"...

It was a nice St. Patrick's Day all the same and the weather (that sort of misty rain that hangs in the air all day) was rather "Irish" indeed..!

There were lots and lots of pictures on Instagram featuring green, white and gold and green hats, scarves, shamrock and so on.. It seems that St. Patrick's Day is quite a big thing all around the world!

I wore this fabulous bow-tie for the day that was in it (don't I look fancy?) and gave my human some extra cuddles...

My humans ordered fish & chips for dinner (I tried a little of the fish and it was pretty good) and I understand that a glass of Bailey's Irish Cream will be enjoyed later in honour of this special day...

I must admit that my ears perked-up no end when I heard the word "cream" but sadly, this time it was not meant to be... boo! I will instead busy myself with some more kibble and kitty treats. Hmm, speaking of...
