Hello dear friends, and a very happy Tuesday to you all!
I hope you have been keeping well since my last post...
Here in Maastricht, things are fine. It's been a pretty quiet week so far (but that's OK sometimes, right? :)

Last week Thursday my humans had a day off (it was Ascension Day in the Netherlands) and it was nice to have some (work-free) quality time together. I donned my bandana for the occasion...
However on Sunday, I got into trouble!
Here's the story... I have my own water bowl but I do sometimes drink from my human's water glass... and sometimes I even like to drink from the bird-bath outside (if the weather is nice ;)
But this time, I decided to have a little drink from the Fish Bowl... I tried to deny it but the evidence was pretty compelling! (see my Instagram post :)
I was scolded but Fishy-Fish was perfectly fine (as was I) and I must say, the water was quite fine too ;)
Looking ahead to this week and the coming weekend, and it's all about the Eurovision. The first of two semi-finals will be on TV tonight, the second round is on Thursday and then, it's the Grand Final this Saturday (22nd May).

I watch the Eurovision every year but this time, it's extra exciting as the show is being held right here in the Netherlands!
It might not be the extravaganza of other years but it's still nice that the show is taking place (especially after last year's was cancelled) in Rotterdam!
I love watching the show on the BBC and the wonderful commentary of (the equally wonderful) Graham Norton.
Did you know that he is from West Cork in Ireland? The village where he lived is about one hour from where my human is from... Pretty cool!
So as you can imagine, Saturday is going to be monopolized by the Song Festival... I rather like the songs from Italy, Finland and France but - like all years - it's anybody's game!
For the rest, some excitement at "Casa Little Tubbs" earlier this week when my human's cover page for her poetry book was revealed! It's still a work-in-progress but it was cool to see how it might all look, and to see the title "The Lonesome Heron" in print. I have not been allowed to look at all the poems yet but I've heard there might be one about me... Fame at last!
Well dear friends, I believe that that is all for this week... as I type, the dark clouds outside have moved away. It's still windy but at least the sun is shining now and that's nice to see. I believe I'll go and enjoy a spot of dinner (Royal Canin... what else?!) and then I'll try to get a little sofa-snoozing done before the Eurovision semi-final... #thankyouforthemusic
Have a great week!
Love, LT xx
