Kitty's Log
Date: 26-05-2021
Weather: Grey & windy
Hello dear friends, and happy Wednesday!
I can't believe that this will be my last post for the month of May... time is going so fast. Would you believe it's just 213 days until Christmas? Oh dear, I think it's best not to dwell!

Back to today and honestly, it's been a bit of a "slow one"... I slept late and only got up at 10:00am! But with the grey and windy weather outside, I wasn't in much of a rush to get out of bed.
I know I have been mentioning the weather a lot recently but it really is quite remarkable how cold and rainy it has been.
There is talk of some sunny skies returning this weekend but I'm not convinced at all!
I guess we can but hope... and I would certainly like to get back out onto the Catio again and enjoy some warm snoozies in the sun.
Looking back over this past week and the main highlight was the Eurovision on Saturday... what a night of entertainment it was!
The quality of the songs, the suspense (right down to the very last minute with the voting process), the commentary of the fabulous Mr. Norton... I was hyper! My humans and I watched the entire contest so we stayed up rather late as a result. But it was totally worth it and many congratulations to Italy on their deserved win!

On May 24th, it was another day off for my humans - this time for Whit Monday.
It was nice... we enjoyed a late breakfast together and watched some TV in the morning. But in the afternoon, Damian (the vacuum cleaner) made an appearance (grrrrrr!) as my humans needed to give the house a quick clean...
We had a couple of visitors pop by in the evening, you see. My humans and their friends chatted over some nice wine while I kept watch from my kitty-box.
Then they picked-up some Chinese takeaway from one of their favourite places (Wen Chow) and the dining room was full of some yummy aromas! I even got to try a little chicken and a piece of duck too... but truthfully, I was happier with my Royal Canin (which I subsequently scoffed down as well!)
Looking ahead to this weekend and I think the highlight might be the Dutch TV channel, SBS 6 on Friday night. Oh yes people, they are airing the Friends reunion documentary and I can't wait to tune in! #howyoudoin ?!
Until next time...
Love, LT x
