Bonjour friends!

Comment ça va?

Yes indeed, I am still pushing ahead with my study of French... and it is maybe just in time as the Guinness Six Nations Rugby Tournament kicked-off again last weekend and this coming Saturday, Ireland (who I am obliged to support given Tracey is from West Cork) are off to Paris to play France.

I must say that I don't mind watching the rugby. I have a comfy spot on the sofa, the game only lasts 80 minutes and it all seems quite spirited and exciting.

The only downside is the noise! My human gets rather vocal during the game - though I'm quite sure that yelling at the TV will not have any impact on tries, drop goals nor the final score!

In any case, I spent a nice afternoon last Saturday watching Ireland play Italy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Ireland managed to win (50-17) but I believe they will need to up their game (no pun intended) against Les Bleus this weekend.

It may be called Super Saturday in the world of the Six Nations but it also happens to be Hallowe'en...

I'm not a huge fan of Hallowe'en to be honest - even though there tends to be lots of treats about, none of them are kitty treats so I'm just not interested!

October 31st also means that I'll most likely have to do some sort of dress-up(!) Last year I was an "Avo-cat-o" which was funny (and healthy ;) and the year before I was "Bat Cat" (Holy Costume Party, Robin!)

But for this year, I am still not sure...

Maybe I will just wear a piece of sourdough and go as a "pure-bread" cat!! :D
