Weather: A mixed bag!

Hello dear friends, and happy Monday!

Can you believe that it's already the last Monday in June?

Honestly, where does the time go... (just 180 days until Christmas. O.M.G!)

So what's been happening since I last put paw to keyboard?

Well, you will recall that I received a gift of some kitty-sunglasses and (as promised), here is a pic of me wearing said sunnies.

I mean, cool cat or what?!

In my last post, I also mentioned that Damien (the vacuum cleaner) was due to make an appearance (boo!) but then I heard that the vacuum cleaner had broken down (yay!).

But sadly my elation was short lived as it now seems a (new) hoover is coming on the scene and he is called Henry. "Henry the Hoover" - sounds cute but I'll reserve judgement until he arrives...

For the rest (and as mentioned at the top of this post), the weather here has been a bit of a "mixed bag" of late... one day really warm and muggy, the next day storms and heavy rain.

It's hard to keep up! I just plan my day accordingly... if it's dry and sunny, I hang out on the Catio and if it's cold and rainy, I settle-in at one of my snoozie spots indoors #catlife

But my-oh-my, it's really lovely out on the patio garden these days... my humans have done a good job with the planting this year and everything looks so lush. The cherry tree, the Japanese Maple, the Rhododendron, the Geraniums... There are also more wildflowers this year (the Red Clover is especially nice) which is slowly attracting some bees and butterflies.

I did get scolded the other day for trying to chase a Cabbage White mind - it was just so tempting - so I think I'll stick to cat-chirping at the birds going!

Now as you know, I am a fancy Tuxedo Cat and the other day, I was gifted with my very own tuxedo bow-tie!

I have tried it on and I must say, it really gives me a James Bond vibe. Be sure to check back next week for some photos of me doing my best "Secret Service Agent" impression...

Well dear friends, on that note I think I'll bid you farewell (it's hard to follow the James Bond humour ;) but let me just finish by saying "roll on October" as I can't wait to see Daniel Craig in "No time to Die".
