Hello dear friends,

Did you all have a good Christmas time?

I do hope so.

My Christmas was quite lovely... quiet, but lovely.

I was very lucky and got lots of gifties - many of which were of the Kitty Treat variety so I was a happy cat!

Here I am by our Christmas Tree ("Shrub") before getting started with unwrapping.

I do love the lights and how they sparkle... and they give me a rather intriguing "glow" in this photograph, huh?

Next to the gifts, I also enjoyed lots of good breakfasts, lunches and dinners...

I was rather greedy, I think as I found I had to sleep extra lots during the holidays... but a cat's gotta do what a cat's gotta do, right?!

I also watched quite a lot of TV with my humans including the Great British Sewing Bee Christmas Special and Agatha Christie's Miss Marple series on BBC First. But honestly, some of the days were so dull & grey outside that cozy sofa time was the only way to go. That and reading... lots of reading (my humans got a big pile of books from Santa this year :)

I made an effort with my outfit on Christmas Day... here I am in my tartan bandana with matching Santa Hat. I must admit that I looked very cute in the Zoom call with my human's family in Ireland!

And thanks to everyone who was asking how my human got on with her little surgery - well the stitches came out yesterday and although the wounds are a bit red, it looks pretty OK so far.

You know, I can't believe there are just three more sleeps left in 2020... and that this Friday will be January 1st, 2021.

I do wonder what the new year will bring...

To be honest, I don't really like New Year's Eve but this year, it seems that fireworks are not allowed so that already makes me feel more relaxed (and means I won't get so scared at midnight).

In the meantime, it will be a few quiet days to close-out the year... I have heard talk of some snow which might be quite cool (or cold, I suppose ;) but we'll have to wait and see.
