Weather: A definite chill in the air

Hello fur-friends,

I hope all is well :)

I don't know about you but I have dusted off one of my autumn scarves this week.. there is a definite chill in the air and I find that I am less eager to venture outside.

My choice of scarf was this rather fetching pink-stripey number (I sort of look like a candy cane!).

I like to wear the scarf rather nonchalantly as I think it makes me look like an eccentric, talented artist! In fact this week, I actually tried helping my humans with a bit of painting (call me Pi-cat-so!)

They had to give the walls in the living room a fresh coat and because of this, I was locked out of the room! #thecheek

I am quite nosy you see and it appears that paint and paint fumes are not so good for kitties.. and kitty paws in paint seem to be an absolute no-no! #spoilsports

I stayed in the hall meowing my objections for a good ten minutes and at one point, I really had to increase the volume and add a few door scratches into the mix too.

But my humans would not back down... I did get some reassurances through the door and at one point, Dave came into the hall to give me a cuddle on his way to the loo. He had some strange flecks on his face (I had to giggle) but I guess this painting malarkey can be quite tricky as it seems the brush thing (which I am also not allowed to play with, by the way) can sometimes "spit" at you!

So in the end, I decided to head to the bedroom to have a nice cat-nap under the duvet... and before I knew it, Tracey had come looking for me to check that I was OK and to inform me that dinner was ready. Hurrah!!
