Hello dear friends,

And happy 2021 to you all! I wish you the best of blessings for this coming year...

I'm off to an appalling (appawlling even!) start... I'm totally confused with my days of the week and I forgot to do my usual Tuesday post.. yesterday! So here I am on Wednesday doing my first update of the year...

Well the last week of 2020 was pretty uneventful, it was a lot of eating, snoozing and Netflix. I watched season three of Cobra Kai and season four of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - both were super good!

And of course I also did a "Best Nine" grid on Instagram... well, it's got to be done, right? :)

My humans had one of these "dinner at home" boxes on Christmas Day which left some very nice aromas in the kitchen...

New Year's Eve was fairly low-key (as always)... there were a few zoom calls with some folks in Ireland (I made an appearance on the screen at one point to show off my fluffy tummy and my general cuteness!)

Sadly at midnight, there were still some fireworks in Maastricht so I was rather spooked-out.

My humans again did their best to comfort me but at one point, I just had to head for the bedroom and hunker down under the duvet.

The only good thing was that the fireworks didn't last as long as previous years (I was also happy for my bird friends outside) and my humans came to bed extra early for some snuggles...

I'm still getting to grips with this new year but I hope all will go well.

I have decided not to make any big resolutions - I think I'll just carry on as before and keep focused on the important things in life like kitty treats, grooming, snoozing, cat chirping and (of course) snuggles with my humans.
