Dear friends,

I hope this finds you all safe and well.

Since I last wrote, there was talk of snow here in the Netherlands (always rather exciting!) but until now, no sign of those soft and silent white flakes falling (boo!).

It is still chilly here (and dark as of 4pm now) so I must admit that I have not been venturing out all that much... staying cozy under my blankie or on the radiator seems a much more sensible way to spend my time.

As mentioned in last week's post, I helped my humans to put up our little Christmas tree ("Shrubby") last Caturday which was rather fun...

However this year, there are only lights on the little tree - no baubles (it's a bit too small) - so that was slightly less fun!

In any case, here I am posing next to Shrubby... and later this week, it seems some Christmas gifts are going to be placed underneath for me. I can't wait for December 25th!

As you can see in my photograph with Shrubby, I was keeping a close eye on my human as she was getting a kitty treat ready for me! And speaking of my humans, Tracey celebrated her birthday on December 4th...

She and Dave had the day off work so we all hung out together to mark the occasion.

It was a nice day, and there was even some bright winter sun which was lovely to see after several days of dull, grey skies.

And Tracey simply loved my (purrfect) birthday gift! I got her a pair of "personalized" Apple AirPods (the picture says it all I think ;)

And I even got to enjoy a little bit of cream from her birthday Tompouce from the Hema... #happydays

At one point, my humans popped out for a few hours with their cameras.. they are rather fixated on some Kingfisher at the moment but it seems that these particular birdies are rather tricky to photograph...

Well it's time for me to get ready for dinner and settle in for a spot of snoozing...

Seems there is an important Press Conference on Dutch TV tonight which will be about the Covid-19 rules for Christmas time... I am curious (obviously, I am a cat after all ;) about what the announcement will bring.
