Hello dear friends, and I hope this finds you well.

Greetings from a sunny Maastricht... honestly, it was so nice here today! Beautiful blue skies, stunning winter light… perfect snoozing weather. And that’s pretty much what I did all day (it’s lucky I woke up to write this post ;)

That said, it wasn’t such bright weather over the last few days.. we had some grey and rainy moments and then some snow came along and it all got rather chilly.

I do like the snow though... especially if I’m exploring while the sun is shining. My humans go wild from the little paw-prints I leave behind.

Speaking of art, I need to give a mention to a dear friend of my human...

Her name is Painting Goat and she is a proper artist (and really great one at that!). She has loads of beautiful artwork and one piece is titled "Tracey" after my human! I wonder what a cat has to do to have a painting named after him?

Away from art, something that was far less lovely to look at was the Six Nations Rugby over the weekend. Ireland played poorly and lost to Wales...

My human was not happy at all. And worst still, Ireland are up against France this coming weekend and - as the pundits say - France are in form... Yikes!

It's also Valentine's Day this coming weekend and my humans have ordered a takeaway brunch from a local restaurant called Rantrée.

The menu looks pretty fancy to me... and it’s nice they are supporting local too.

I've been told that I am also getting a special brunch on February 14th (indeed, my humans love me lots :) so I am looking forward to that... and some extra big cuddles too!

For today though, it's another lazy night-in (the curfew in the Netherlands has been extended into March) but it’s not too bad as my new favourite series "Interior Design Masters" with Alan Carr is on the BBC. I like this show, and I love Alan (he's really funny and a big animal lover too).

Oh, and a last bit of news today... my human has finally named her new iPhone 12 mini. She has called it Sūkī (which means beloved in Japanese). My human is a bit obsessed with all things Japan. In fact, I may have to change my name to Sukoshi Yokusō which is - according to Google translate - Little Tubbs :)
