Kitty's Log

Date: 09-11-2021

Weather: Dry with some sun

Hello dear friends and happy November!

Gosh, I really can't believe it's the second last month of the year...

Only 52 days left in 2021.

Well I hope this new month has been treating you well... for me, things are going quite OK.

ree

It's been a pretty quiet time though...

I've been enjoying my usual quota of snoozies but I must say, I am almost always indoors these days.

I do still venture onto the Catio for a snuffle about at times (if the sun is shining a bit) but for the most part, it's a cozy indoor life (with lots of radiator naps!) for me...

It is getting rather dark quite early these days mind, and although it's still bright-ish in the morning, I suspect that will change in the coming weeks.

Since I last wrote, I've been starting to put some thought into my Christmas list... I realize that Christmas is still a fair way off but, you can never be too nonchalant about such important things!

I believe I will ask Santa Claus for a (festive) cat bandana, some new toys, some catnip, some kitty treats and maybe a surprise!

Naturally I am surely on the "good kitty" list (again ;) this year so I have high hopes of finding some nice gifties under the tree.

Speaking of the tree, it looks like we'll be decorating ours sometime around the beginning of December (stay tuned)... it's always such fun helping my humans with the baubles!

There was some talk of bringing in our Christmas tree from last year (which is still alive and well on the Catio) but the tree ("Shrubby") is quite settled so it might be wiser to just get a new tree altogether.

Or some other 'symbolic' tree type thing maybe? Hmm... stay tuned (again).

In any case, as long as there are pretty lights (and space underneath for my pressies ;) I don't really mind either way...

Speaking of pretty lights, my human has been using more candles of late. She has some that are called "tea lights" (though I don't see any leaves anywhere... most strange) which sit in special holders and others which are Himalayan Salt candles which give off a very pretty orange-red glow.

I did get scolded however... harrumph!

You see I decided to investigate the candles on the first night and they (both tea and salty) were quickly relocated to "no-access-for-kitty-zones" in the room so now neither my snout, paws nor tail is in any possible danger... #safetyfirst

Well dear friends, that's it from me for this time...

Wishing you all a great week ahead... do take care and remember, keep calm and purr on!

Love,

LT xx
