Hello fur-friends,

Well as you will have noticed, I didn't do any blog post last week Tuesday (8th September). The reason for my being "A.F.K" (= Away From Keyboard ;) is that I was on vacation...

Well, my humans were actually on vacation and I was staying at a local (5 star) Cat Hotel. I had a great room which was large, quiet and furnished with lots of soft fluffy blankets and cushions. I also had my own balcony where I could sit out in the sun during the day and keep an eye on the daily goings-on on the street below.

The hotel was also a sort of wellness retreat so I wasn't permitted any laptop or iPhone, or anything... harrumph!!

It wouldn't have mattered much anyway as there was no WiFi at the Cat Hotel... double harrumph!!

So I was sort of "forced" into a week of full rest and relaxation. As you can see from the photograph, it was tough going(!)... I mean unlimited cuddles, kitty treats, tasty mousse and kibble can take their toll on a cat!

But I powered through and made the best of it... and do you know what, I actually found that I didn't miss the WiFi after a few days, and it was actually sort of nice to fully disconnect.

And at least I still had a television! Even if I'm on holiday, I simply can't miss my favourite shows: Cats 101, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (with the awesome Salem :)

So all-in-all, it wasn't a terrible week but I did miss my humans at times... I know they called twice to check-up on me so that was nice, and I believe they enjoyed their time away... (though they did seem rather happy to see me when they came to pick me up :)

Honestly, I was a bit relieved that I didn't have to travel outside the Netherlands... I'm not really into those face-masks things that I see humans with these days (though I'm sure I could wear one and still look fancy!)

Anyhow, I am now back at home and normal scheduling has been resumed! Until my next post on September 22nd, dear friends...
