Weather: Rain. And more rain...

Greetings dear friends,

And how has your week been?

Well we are only six days into October and the forecast is rain, rain.. and more rain.

Some days, I feel like I am living at Niagara Falls!!! (and I would much rather be "going loco down in Acapulco" as the song says ;)

I have to be honest, I really don't like the rain...

I only like water if I am drinking it from my own bowl, from the bird-bath or from my human's glass!

I just do not enjoy having wet paws you see, nor the way my fur coat tends to gets "tufty" if I am caught in a shower..

I guess it's lucky that I am an indoor cat... and although I do enjoy a snuffle outside, I only venture out if it's dry.

So this week I instead got to re-connect with some dear old friends:

Mousey (pictured) and Mr. Squirrel

When I am stuck indoors, these guys always help bring a smile to my face (and they sometimes even come bearing a little catnip! ;)

Next to this, my humans bought some new covers for our sofa...

It seems the old beige coloured ones were starting to look a bit "manky" and given they have just refreshed the walls of the living room (see last week's post), the sofa also had to get a makeover!

So now we have a green sofa (it gives quite a cozy feel) and some new cushions (in a sort of creamy colour) to-boot!

It all looks pretty nice but honestly, as long as I have a sofa, soft cushions and my blankies, I don't really care what colour they are! (humans can be so weird)
